My motivation behind this work is to comprehend the emotional reactions that a person has when occupying a space, depending on the interior lighting of said space. Also, to observe how the different ways of lighting a space can have an effect, with attention to aspects like the formal relation of the luminaries and the space, or the chromatic relation of materials and light.

When we use the term dynamic lighting we are referring, not only to the possible variations of luminance parameters provided by luminaries but , more specifically, to the dynamism innate in the observer, produced by the mobility of his eyes and of the observer himself in a space, be it interior or urban. Carolina Carvallo Pinto, in her article, investigates the relationship between the urban lighting system, the dynamics of perception of pedestrians and their understanding of urban space.
